The solutions we build today do not come out of nowhere. Our CEO, Hans van de Ven, is a seasoned entrepreneur with more than 50 years of experience. At just 23 years old, he started three successful factories in the Netherlands for the production of watersports equipment, which were exported worldwide.
Later, he founded successful companies such as BioKing® (renewable energy) and AlgeLink (algae-based biofuels). Both companies were successfully sold within three years. It is this deep-rooted technical know-how and entrepreneurial spirit that we now use to engineer your solar heating projects.
World-First Containerization Expertise
With BioKing®, Hans built the world's first containerized oil and biodiesel refineries in 40ft shipping containers. We know better than anyone how to perfectly engineer, build, and seal industrial-grade systems inside a shipping container.
We are now applying that exact same proven expertise to our new mobile 40ft Solar Heating Containers.
Commercial Algae Cultivation Plants
We have developed, engineered, and built commercial algae cultivation plants in our own factories in the Netherlands, Spain, and Canada. This includes large-scale algae cultivation tubes with a diameter of 1.2 meters and automated HDPE control towers with associated systems.
A special highlight from this period: Crown Prince Haakon (now King of Norway) visited our installations.
